भारत सरकार द्वारा भारत के निवासियों को एक विशिष्ट पहचान प्रदान करने हेतु आधार कार्ड की सेवा शुरू की गयी है । भारत देश के निवासियों का आधार कार्ड बनाना अनिवार्य है। आधार कार्ड जन्म से लेकर किसी भी आयु के व्यक्ति द्वारा निर्धारित दस्तावेजो के माध्यम से बनवाया जा सकता है । देश के सभी प्रकार की योजनाओ का लाभ उठाने हेतु आधार कार्ड एक महत्वपूर्ण दस्तावेज है अत किसी भी दस्तावेज को बनाने में प्रथम इकाई के रूप में आधार का उपयोग किया जाता है ।

आधार कार्ड अपडेट कराने की दो प्रक्रिया होती है जिसमे एक प्रक्रिया डेमोग्राफिक डेटा व दूसरी बायोमेट्रिक होती है ।
आधार अपडेट की दोनों प्रक्रिया हेतु प्रार्थी को नजदीकी आधार केंद्र जाना आवश्यक होता है ।
डेमोग्राफिक डेटा अपडेट करने में प्रार्थी अपडेट से सम्बन्धी दस्तावेज जेसे की नाम के लिए वोटर ID/ पासपोर्ट /पैन कार्ड /ड्राइविंग लाइसेंस /केंद्र का जाती प्रमाण पत्र व इसके अलावा जन्म तारीख हेतु जन्म प्रमाण पत्र / मार्कशीट / पासपोर्ट / पैन कार्ड की मूल प्रति के साथ नजदीकी आधार केंद्र जाना आवश्यक होता है ।
बायोमेट्रिक डेटा अपडेट करने में प्राथी को स्वयं नजदीकी आधार केंद्र जाना आवश्यक होता है ।
UIDAI के ऑनलाइन पोर्टल के माध्यम से आप स्वयं आधार कार्ड में पता व रिलेशन में संसोधन कर सकते है ।

Aadhaar Card Update Process

The Government of India launched the Aadhaar card service to provide every resident of India with a unique identity. It is mandatory for residents of India to have an Aadhaar card. An Aadhaar card can be made for a person of any age, from birth onwards, through the prescribed documents. Aadhaar is an important document for availing all kinds of government schemes, and is therefore used as the primary document when creating any other document.

Key Features

There are two processes for updating an Aadhaar card: one is a demographic data update and the other is a biometric update.
Both update processes require the applicant to visit the nearest Aadhaar center in person.
For a demographic data update, the applicant must visit the nearest Aadhaar center with update-related documents — for example, Voter ID/Passport/PAN Card/Driving Licence/Caste Certificate for a name change, and the original copy of a Birth Certificate/Marksheet/Passport/PAN Card for a date-of-birth change.
For a biometric data update, the applicant must personally visit the nearest Aadhaar center.
Through the UIDAI online portal, you can update the address and relationship details on your Aadhaar card yourself.
